So, back in the early Cretaceous period (Mid-70’s) Middle Off the Road was characterised by dudes like John Denver, TV shows like Seaside Special and Leo Sayer. Little Leo though…MOR? A man dressed as a pierrot, dancing madly, lyrics like honey and arsenic, and using a voice well outside his normal timbre and tone….Not quite. He’d probably be regarded as avant-garde now. I could be going mad as my ears grow static and I long for the stultifying fug of cosy nostalgia, a warm blanket and soft food…But, see what you think and check this out.
