Taken in 2010. See you in 2014.
It maybe the 22nd of December, but we’ve just shot, cut and delivered our first ever Christmas video. It’s all a bit top secret at the moment and I’m not sure when it’s going to be released – presumably before the 25th though 🙂 As we’re about to shut up shop for a couple of weeks there are no links to the video itself, but here’s a little sneaky screen shot. Happy Christmas!
We’ve been here before, but it can handle repeated viewing. Fayl-Billot / France. And it couldn’t possibly be more French. Fingers crossed it’s still around next year.
Now then, here’s a sumptuous, enigmatic & elegiac short film by a young, local filmmaker and photographer from Duns in the Scottish Borders. Created as an entry for the National Archives Files on Film Competition in which he was placed in the top five, this is “Lapse” by Gabriel Greenough. Checkout his WIP website here – he definitely deserves a look. Hopefully at some point in 2014 there might be a little collaboration as Gabriel has a very good eye for a shot.
Tidal surges, 100mph winds and localised flooding. It’s all been happening recently, hence a bit of storm chasing was in order. Luckily, I neither ended up in Kansas or needed one of these. This shot was taken last night in Berwick-upon-Tweed at high tide. And chuff me, it was cold.
