An ostinato to die for : TWA / New Song.

In music, an ostinato (derived from Italian: “stubborn”, compare English: obstinate) is a motif or phrase, which is persistently repeated in the same musical voice. An ostinato is always a succession of equal sounds, wherein each note always has the same weight or stress.

Right forget about all that and give this a listen. People talk about Smoke on the Water, Whole Lotta Love, or Paranoid having great riffs, well, check this one out from Mr Michael Goldsworthy.  It’s not often I quote Kylie, but…”I can’t get it outta my head…”

Apologies for the dodgy video quality, it was taken on a little camcorder. Enjoy.
