Here we see Steve, Bob, Scott, Goldie & Paul limbering up for another couple of blistering sets as part 2 of their Borders Tour 2011. Tomorrow night sees them in Galashiels at The Reivers Bar, while on Friday the 4th they head over to Duns and the British Legion. It’s probably going to be the last chance to see the band in action for 2011 as they take a little breather before heading over to the top secret 80:8 HQ (find it on Google Maps TD11 3HS) in December for a video shoot with us. It should be good fun, probably quite chaotic and will no doubt involve a few beers, some strong punches and body throws, but the end result is going to be amazing. I’m lining my stomach even as we speak.
The band are really approaching some kind of peak these days. They’ve got songs ‘n’ tunes coming thick and fast, while live they are super-tight, full of energy and always play as though their lives depend on it. Catch ’em close up and personal while you can.
