The Trip
In amidst the bands and rock ‘n’ roll, there’s whole host of other interesting things happening in Berwick-upon-Tweed. One is the rumoured opening of a 24 Hour Greggs that also sells lager, but also a slice of zeitgeist capturing publishing called ‘The Trip‘. Issue 2 has just been produced, there’s a launch party this weekend at The Barrels and Kyle D, who haunts Twitter like a modern day beatnik and produces the mag, has a great interest in music, design, typography, photography and simply anything that bubbles up out of nothing to create something wondrous. There’s a lot of that around here. Parochial it isn’t. Is it a scene? Dunno…But something’s afoot. Get The Trip, go to The Barrels / Enjoy.
