Speechless in the face of brilliance.

I’m not a sci-fi geek. But I love stories. I love the re-arrangement of familiar patterns, words and grammar into something new. I love juxtaposition of images, taste and texture. I love a story familiar to us all as part of the human condition that is told in such a way, that it tells us something new. Doctor Who – tonight, was that and more. Sublime. It’s not sci-fi, it’s not scary monsters. It’s a vehicle for telling us about something aspirational, noble and human.

It’s the good news about us.
