Well, it was only this morning that I was extolling the virtues of the digital democracy and how it has brought amazing capabilities to us all. Er, well. A digger has cut our telephone line in half so we now have no internet for a week! I’m currently using on-board wifi on a train from Edinburgh but once I get home that’s it! My 3G dongle doesn’t even work in The Borders. So, you may not hear from us over the weekend. But never fear, we shall survive!
